No Show Policy

No Show Policy
New Horizons uniformly charges $50 for no shows. There is no variation to this policy.
The fee for no show is shown in the bill as NOSHF. Our billing system wants us to bill the insurance for no show first. That is the code we use to bill the insurance.
Most of the insurances except commercial ERISA plan do not pay for no show fee. This then becomes your responsibility.
When you have a no show on file, your next appointment may not be confirmed till you have cleared the no show by paying no show fee.
If you have more than two no shows on file, a termination letter is sent to you. You have 30 days left to set up a new provider who can work with your busy and flexible schedule. We will send your medical file to your new provider at no cost provided you have set up a new provider.
If you have not set up a new provider and want your paper records printed and given to you, a copy fee is charged to you as per Colorado Law.
